Dinner at the Platform

It's Wednesday so of course I spent the morning at the Bridge Cafe. After all, that's when I meet with my stitch sisters to knit, chat, crochet, drink coffee or tea and eat Lisa's yummy muffins or scones or even have breakfast. It's a given that that's where you'll find me - except on the month's fourth Wednesday which is when the Tohickon Garden Club has its meeting. But that's another story.

It's summer, so there's a dinner option Wednesday through Sunday.

It's more like a pop up, with a menu that changes every fortnight.
And currently the theme is a sort of Mexican fusion. Sounds tasty.

The starters sounded so appealing I chose two.

And Paul couldn't refuse the delicious sounding burger.

It's BYOB so we opened a couple of beers while we waited.

And enjoyed the evening sunlight on the Delaware River.

Busy kitchen, preparing delicious food and attractively plating it up.

My two choices were chickpea fritters with hummus, cardamom spiced yogurt,
mango-mint chutney, toasted cumin seeds and triangles of warm pita.

and three perfectly cooked shrimp on a bed of grilled arugula
with roasted garlic puree and anchovy butter. Didn't take a picture
of Paul's juicy burger but did sample the embellished french fries.

Thank you, Graham, for a delicious, flavorful meal, well cooked and beautifully presented.
